Following a firmware update of the infotainment main unit, entering a new confirmation code is required to verify the successful completion of the procedure. Please enter the exact value from the 'Confirmation of installation change' screen into the textbox below, and confirm the newly generated value by updating it on the relevant screen.

OBDeleven: Navigate to the 5F - Multimedia via the Control Units tab. Next, access the Adaptation tab and search for the Confirmation of installation change option. Once you open that option, you will see your 4-digit old confirmation value.

VCDS: You can obtain your old confirmation code using the VCDS software by accessing the 5F - Information Electr. module via Select Control Module. Next, select Adaptation and find the Confirmation of installation change. You will see your old value displayed in a four-digit length. You can clear your fault code by entering the old value into the textbox above and confirming the replacement of the old value with the generated new one.
